Janette Ruth Osborne BCom CMInstD CA
Originally from South Otago, via Nelson, Wellington, London and Christchurch. I moved to my husband Kim’s family sheep and beef farm near Waitomo Caves in 2010 and have loved being part of this community since.
I am a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors. I bring financial, analysis and governance skills to the Trust along with experience working in large companies including two years as Systems Management Accountant at TLC.
I also have governance experience as a company director and chair in the wool industry.
I was appointed onto the Trust in 2017 and have worked diligently as part of the team. I am very proud of the collective vision the Trust has developed on behalf of the community - “Growing and enhancing our community asset for the sustainable benefit of the Trust beneficiaries, now and in the future”.
The Trust’s expectations, on behalf of the community, are now clearly communicated to TLC annually through a Letter of Expectation which is the leading document in TLC’s Statement of Corporate Intent.
I would be honoured to have the opportunity to contribute to the Trust’s mission and goals for a further three years alongside Erin and William.
