It is 31 Micron - which is ideal for outer garments, cushions, blankets and afghans which need to be harder wearing.
The woollen spinning provides a yarn with a lot of loft to trap air for extra warmth.
The wool has been eco-friendly shrink resist treated - so you can be sure your special project is not going to decrease in size.
Lake Ruataniwha is a stunningly blue lake in the McKenzie Country of the South Island of New Zealand fed by mountain glaciers. It is named after a nearby sheep station and was formed as part a hydro electricity scheme - being completed in 1981. It is also the home of a world class rowing venue.
