This wool is 100% Perendale Lamb's Wool from Te Toko Station in the North Island of New Zealand.
It is 31 Micron - which is ideal for outer garments, cushions, blankets and afghans which need to be harder wearing.
The woollen spinning provides a yarn with a lot of loft to trap air for extra warmth.
The wool has been eco-friendly shrink resist treated - so you can be sure your special project is not going to decrease in size.
The Bay of Islands in Northland, New Zealand was the one of the first areas to be settled by Europeans. With its sub-tropical climate, many islands and expanses of bluey green water it is a popular fishing, sailing and holiday destination.
