Description
This 100% hemp yarn offers the ultimate in strength with the drape and lustre that is unique to hemp and colourfastness that is outstanding. Hemp does not fade and lose its colour as some other natural plant fibres can. Your garment will stay looking great for years and years to come. |
This 4 ply weight yarn is the perfect weight for delicate knits such as lace work and light clothing. It provides exceptional drape and is lovely as a lightweight garment or cover-up for warmer months and warmer climates. This sport weight is perfect for your elegant wear, all year long. |
The creator of this yarn, Lana Hames, has also designed a stunning range of knitting patterns which are available under the Patterns and Kits section. |

Care: Hand or machine wash – lay flat to dry or tumble dry until slightly damp, lay flat to dry.Hemp will soften by regular washing and drying. It will not shrink, stretch, fade or pill, and will only get softer after each wash. If you find the Allhemp yarns stiff to work with, soak the 100% hemp hank in hot water and hair conditioner, air dry and wind into a ball. Personally, I very much enjoyed the texture of the yarn to knit with without soaking or washing before knitting.
