This exquisite yarn is crafted from the deepest, darkest fleeces from our own Hollow Hill Farm - carefully selected to achieve the rich softness and stunning colour we have been perfecting since 2006.With a fine approximately 26 micron texture (next to skin fineness), this wool has been spun at the boutique Green Acres Fibre Mill in Canterbury, using techniques that create a beautifully textured finish, reminiscent of genuine hand-spun yarn.
Its unique character and subtle variations make each skein special - as an exclusive yarn should be.

If you want character and natural - just like hand-spun then this is the yarn for you
Each Skein is approximately 100 grams and 105 metres and knits as a chunky 8 ply - 17 stitches and 22 rows per 10 cm / 4 inches on 4 mm needles. It could also be knitted as a 10 ply.
As this wool is completely natural, it is recommended handwash only and dry flat.
